Speakeasy theme for Adler fundraiser

The "A-list Speakeasy Benefit" for the David Adler Music & Arts Center in Libertyville will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. May 20, at the David Adler Estate, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave.

The themed event features original works donated by established area artists along with live music provided by Adler musicians and the 17-piece Highland Park Pops jazz band. Small plates, wine, and craft beer will be served.

Participants can dress to the 1920s speak-easy theme or business casual. Tickets are $80. For $250, a bronze membership comes with two tickets, name in the auction program and on the website.
