Lake County conducting paratransit study to improve services

A Paratransit Market Study is now underway in Lake County to evaluate transportation options for seniors, people with disabilities, and the general public.

To participate in the study online, visit www.surveymonkey.com/r/PT_MS_Community1.

Currently available paratransit services include Pace Dial-a-Ride or township programs, which assist residents traveling to and from medical appointments, places of employment and other daily activities.

The study aims to help officials understand the public's needs, identify gaps in service, and provide recommendations.

To kickoff the Paratransit Market Study, a series of Public Information Meetings were held in January. To see the exhibits from the meeting, visit the project website at www.lakecountyil.gov/3770/Paratransit-Market-Study.
