Homecoming for St. Viator grad at chorus

The New Tradition Chorus, a Northbrook-based men's a cappella group, will perform with the Purdue Varsity Glee Club Friday night at St. Viator High School.

It's the glee club's tradition to perform a show in each senior's hometown. In this case, it's the senior home show for Ryan Gurreri, who will share the stage at his alma mater with his dad, New Tradition member Joseph Gurreri.

Both choruses will perform separately, then together as a joint chorus of some 100 voices. The Northsiders, a Chicago barbershop quartet, also performs starting at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and available at newtradition.tix.com, by calling (800) 746-9246, or at the door.
