Sculptor brings sand castles, pumpkins to Deer Park

Take the family outside and visit Deer Park Town Center this fall to experience the larger-than-life sand sculptures and pumpkin displays throughout the shopping center.

The community is invited to see all three sand sculptures near Bath & Body Works, near Anthropologie and in the Gazebo. These works of art were created on-site and are on display through Saturday, Oct. 31.

The Halloween themed sand sculptures were designed and carved by master sculptor Ted Siebert, a world renown artist, world record-setter and sculpting champion. Siebert has a background and training in art, and discovered that sand sculpting is the ideal combination of art and sport. He is now a pioneer in the sand sculpting profession.

He has helped set nine-world records, duly noted by Guinness World Records, and holds titles as U.S. National and Canadian National champion.

For more Halloween fun, don't miss two giant carved pumpkins on display near the Sundance store and in the Gazebo, and find all 10 pumpkins in flower pots around the shopping center.

Shoppers are encouraged to take photos with the sand sculptures and pumpkins and post to Instagram for a chance to win a $100 Deer Park Town Center shopping spree.
