Sugarland coming to Aurora's RiverEdge Park

Sugarland, the Grammy Award-winning country duo featuring Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, will bring its "There Goes the Neighborhood Tour" to Aurora's Thomas J. Weisner RiverEdge Park this summer - the band's only Chicago-area stop.

The concert, with guest Tenille Townes, begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 2, in the outdoor venue along the Fox River at 360 N. Broadway.

Tickets are $43 to $99 and go on sale next week at RiverEdgeAurora.com.

Phone and in-person sales start after the first two weeks of online-only sales.

For tickets and information, visit RiverEdgeAurora.com, call (630) 896-6666, or stop by RiverEdge Park's satellite box office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday at Paramount Theatre, 23 E. Galena Blvd.

Nettles and Bush released the album "BIGGER" in June 2018, which included the single "Babe," featuring Taylor Swift.

It was the duo's first project together in roughly six years.

Since its inception in 2002, Sugarland has sold nearly 10 million albums and had seven No. 1 country singles.

Nettles and Bush won five consecutive Country Music Association awards for Vocal Duo of the Year from 2007 to 2011.
