'Cats' will return to Chicago stage next summer
Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical "Cats" will return to Chicago next summer.
The national tour will play Chicago's Oriental Theatre from July 16 to Aug. 4, 2019. It will be part of Broadway in Chicago's next season, which goes on sale this fall.
Winner of the 1983 Tony Award for best musical, the show takes place over a single night when a tribe of cats gathers and must decide which among them will be reborn.
Tickets are now available for groups of 10 or more, and individual tickets will go on sale later. For information, go to broadwayinchicago.com.
