Dining out: Sports bar The Draft Room opens Saturday in Rosemont

Draft Room debuts

On Saturday, Nov. 18, Kings Dining & Entertainment at Rosemont's MB Financial Park welcomes the opening of the new evolved sports bar The Draft Room. Kings completely remodeled its restaurant section into this new venue that includes three 14-foot HD LED display panels showing sporting events such as NFL Sunday Ticket, a 40-beer tap running along the new 75-foot-long bar, handcrafted cocktails and made-from-scratch cuisine. In warmer months, three garage doors will open to an expanded beer garden-style patio. All ages are welcome until 10 p.m. daily, when the venue will transform into a 21-and-over facility, with live DJs every Friday and Saturday. Hours for Kings are 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. What better way to learn about the history of tequila and how it's made than a tequila dinner? Sammy's Mexican Grill & Bar is set to host a four-course Patron tequila dinner from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20. The chef at Sammy's will introduce each course and explain how he created the dishes to fit the characteristics of the cocktails. Three mixed cocktails and three shots of tequila are included in the $70 dinner (tax and gratuity inclusive). Reservations are required as there are only 30 spots available. Old Town turns 4

Old Town Pour House in Oak Brook celebrates its fourth anniversary and Black Wednesday by giving patrons exclusive access to Goose Island's limited edition Bourbon County series starting at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22. The bar will tap Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout, Bourbon County Coffee Stout, Bourbon County Barleywine and Bourbon County Proprietor two days before the brewery officially releases them to the public Friday, Nov. 24.
