Steven Tyler coming to Naperville Ribfest

Steven Tyler and the Loving Mary Band will perform next summer as part of the Naperville Exchange Club's Ribfest celebration, organizers said Wednesday.

Tyler will take the stage July 7 at Knoch Park near downtown. Tickets go on sale at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, at ribfest.net.

Tyler, who has been cited by Rolling Stone as "one of the greatest singers of all time," will perform with the Nashville-based Loving Mary. He's expected to mix his greatest hits with songs from his debut solo album, "We're All Somebody From Somewhere."

Ribfest, held over the July 4 weekend, is entering its 31st year and has raised more than $16 million to benefit agencies dealing with hunger, families in crisis, homelessness, sexual assault, advocacy, housing, addiction, respite care for families of special need children, adult day care and teen pregnancy support.
