Film bites: Coen brothers get Danned & Raymonded

Coen brothers get Danned & Raymonded

Join me and novelist/film historian Raymond Benson as Dann & Raymond's Movie Club examines the phenomenal Coen brothers and their treasure trove of quirky, blackly comic and challenging motion pictures, starting with their breakthrough feature "Blood Simple."

We'll also explain why the current movie "Suburbicon" doesn't work, even though the Coen brothers wrote the original screenplay.

We begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights. Free admission. ahml.info.
