Critic Dann Gire & Raymond come down with dystopia

Join me and film historian/novelist Raymond Benson when Dann and Raymond's Movie Club presents “Bleak Peek: The Great Dystopian Movies” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library. Free admission!

The program's topic is tied in with the library's annual One Book One Village program that encourages everyone in the community to read the same book and engage in discussions based on the book. Former Lake Forest resident Dave Eggers' novel “The Circle” (turned into a 2017 movie starring Tom Hanks) is the featured work.
