Enjoy half-off a select menu of oysters, appetizers, cocktails and more from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, in the Oyster Bar or on Shaw's patio. Can't make it Monday? Catch happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. daily in the Oyster Bar where you can take advantage of half-off select menu items including hand-shucked oysters, oysters Rockefeller, calamari, select cocktails, all draft beer and more. Marigold's new Tour of India

Lincolnshire's Marigold Maison recently launched the new Tour of India Thali Platter, which features 10 signature cuisines from India's 28 regions. Created by executive chef Sunil Kumar, the map-style menu gives diners a way to explore a variety of Indian dishes while allowing them to learn more about the culinary history of each region. Dishes include the northern specialty Paneer Korma, Shrimp Tandoori Tikka from the eastern region of Calcutta, Lamb Vindaloo from Goa, and a variety of the hand-stretched Tandoori bread naan. The special platter is available from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It costs $29 per person. Marigold Maison is at 900 Milwaukee Ave., Lincolnshire. Heirloom Farm Dinner

Elburn's Heritage Prairie Farm prepares for the fall harvest with an Heirloom Farm Dinner featuring heirloom fruit- and vegetable-inspired dishes paired with beers from Naperville's Solemn Oath Brewery. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, with passed appetizers such as beer and walnut crostini, pickled eggplant frittata and caramelized onion roll paired with Lu and Old Faithorn brews. Entrees are heirloom tomato salad, country captain chicken, fennel gratin and whole-roasted Sitka salmon niçoise paired with Funsponge, Oktoberface and Kidnapped By Vikings. Finish your meal with rice pudding for dessert. Tickets cost $90 per person and include food, beer, tax and gratuity. A cash bar serving wine and cocktails will be available.
