Dining events: Mt. Prospect's Truco Taqueria intros revamped menu Monday

Truco Taqueria's new menu

Truco Taqueria & Margarita Bar unveils a new menu Monday, April 24, that includes a variety of Mexican flatbreads like the Costilla, which combines braised short rib, tamarind barbecue sauce, serrano peppers, avocado and radish for $12; and a dozen tacos like the chicken pipian verde, with pulled chicken, tomatillo pumpkin seed and sesame seed sauce, queso fresco, cilantro and toasted seeds for $3. Also, breakfast is now served all day and night featuring favorites like chilaquiles, breakfast burritos and huevos rancheros. Drink specials include the Oh My Gato Margarita with Herradura Blanco, orange liqueur, muddled cucumbers, jalapeño and lime juice $10. The RAM's BurgerRama menu

The RAM invites you to drool over its new BurgerRama menu: eight new burgers, melts and sandwiches. Unique combos include the southern baja sandwich: a Buttface Amber Ale-infused chicken breast on a grilled hoagie roll, topped with charred tomatillo salsa and Wisconsin jalapeño pepper Jack cheese with a grilled smoky Anaheim pepper, chipotle aioli, pig candy and topped with chipotle-tarragon slaw. Other sandwiches are: the Beer Geek burger; Asian flavors of the chicken banh-mi and the chicken katsu; the Big Kahuna ahi tuna; Broadway melt; County Von County garlic burger; and the Italian Mamma Mia burger. Bricks' pizza of the month

Bricks Wood Fired Pizza serves sweetness this month with its specialty pizza: the Honey Love. Made with Alta Cucina tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, hot soppressata, and topped with red pepper flakes, oregano and a drizzle of honey, the Honey Love is $13.20 for a 12-inch pie. Odyssey's James Beard cruises

In honor of the James Beard awards returning to Chicago, Odyssey cruises offers a special James Beard menu now through May 1. Depart from Navy Pier and enjoy a three-course menu that includes a choice of salad, lobster soup or the smoked mallard duck breast. Entree choices include the honey- and beer-braised veal shank, maple- and mustard-glazed chicken breast, oven-baked Atlantic salmon, and a dessert such as the Eli's original cheesecake, Granny Smith apple parfait, salted caramel cake or Odyssey signature warm butter cake.
