Letter: More concern for immigrants than the unborn

Says Valerie Forrest in her recent letter: "The United States is cherished for being a melting pot. That's why it's vital we stand with immigrants."

She self-identifies as a "health care provider for Planned Parenthood," and informs us that, "My mother was not born in America and was brought to a new part of the world when she was just a young child."

Anyone see any ironies here? I did.

We Americans should stand with the immigrants, but when it comes to our own unborn children, well, they are disposable, and, coincidentally, a source of income for Planned Parenthood.

Valerie's mother was not born here? Lucky woman.

Had Roe v. Wade passed some years earlier, and had her grandparents arrived after that had occurred, there's a chance that her mother wouldn't have been born at all … which means that Valerie would not be here to write her letter.

Can't see the forest for the trees, eh, Valerie?
