St. Charles taxes, spends too much
Not that long ago, St. Charles was a nice conservative town. No longer, with our liberal tax-and-spend mayor and city council. Now they want to raise gas tax in St. Charles as well as property taxes.
Certainly, they wouldn't want to cut the bloated budget of all of the union workers in the city to make ends meet?
Just in my neighborhood alone, there are over 100 new homes that have been built recently - over $1 million in new taxes. The city gets a portion of that, but it is laughable city officials feel it is not enough to meet their needs.
Time to vote out our proven liberal mayor and the entire city council. No wonder so many folks are leaving this state.
