A sign worth sharing

I read with deep regret The Daily Herald article on June 5, "94-year-old's protest sign is too large, Elgin says." My regret is that Myra Becker's sign wasn't larger, billboard size seems appropriate.

Because of her physical limitations, Mrs. Becker cannot march in protest. It goes without saying that she should immediately be appointed grand marshal of the Elgin 4th of July parades and festivities.

Congress chooses to do nothing to stop this madness and, as Mrs. Becker has surely proven, it's up to the people to speak out.

Bless you, Myra Becker for your courage and commitment in voicing dismay and disgust with this travesty of an administration.
