More kids should be in Scouting
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Mr. Grossnickle's article (Opinion, May 10) highlighting his life experience through the lens of the Boy Scout program. As a former Girl Scout leader, and currently a minister who serves a church that supports a Scout Troop and Pack, I can see how the lives of our children and youth are positively transformed.
I encourage adults to seek out and enroll the young people in their lives in a local scouting group.
The Girl and Boy Scouts of America are preparing our young people for life!
