Plenty still want to hear from Clinton

I was disheartened to read Raleigh Sutton mansplaining why Hillary Clinton should "stay at home and leave us alone."

I am actually interested in what Hillary Clinton has to say. She is an intelligent and accomplished individual, a former diplomat and senator, someone who has devoted her life to social justice. I think her experience and analysis are valuable.

It strikes me that this animosity toward Hillary has more to do with sexism than her merits as a candidate. Should Al Gore "stop whining" about climate change and "just stay home" because he lost an election? And what about James Comey? He was fired by the president but, lordy, he's on every TV station in America hawking his new book. Should he just stay home and leave us alone?

And speaking of James Comey, I'd like to remind us all of Nate Silver's estimate that Comey's interference in the election cost Clinton about three percentage points. That would have been enough to win the Electoral College, in addition to her bigger popular vote victory (even bigger than Obama over Romney).

Of the 65.8 million Americans who voted for Hillary Clinton, there are plenty of us who are #stillwithher.
