Excessive construction
In Cook County, construction causes more damage than it fixes. There is an extreme amount of construction being performed in Cook County that does not address the everyday issues that we encounter on our commutes. Construction is usually viewed as a positive solution in other counties, but in Cook County, construction isn't being done as a solution. It is being done as an expansion. Cook County does not take the time needed to review actual everyday problems in the roads. The current construction being performed is dangerous and time consuming. It causes damage to cars as well as people. The construction plans for Cook County are extremely excessive and unnecessary.
