Hats off to Elgin police chief
How refreshing & to the point, for a police chief to say, "Come at a cop with a knife, you're probably getting shot." He is rightly supporting his profession with this statement of fact. I am sick and tired of the headline of "Demanding answers." The answer was clear and should be as to the demise of Decynthia Clemente. Just once it would be a good thing, for a family to say, The police did their job." Just once. Obviously, there are exceptions but not in this case. Hats off, to Chief Swoboda.
