I've been a voter since turning 18, but feel it's never been more important to take part in our democracy by being an engaged and informed voter. This has led me to discover Jim Caffrey running for state representative in District 47.

Now that I've met him, it seems he is active all over my community, and I appreciate his involvement in school PTA, sports and political activities. He brings over 20 years of business experience, has experience organizing national political campaigns and served in the Peace Corps.

Jim is a Democrat, committed to working across party lines to get things done in Springfield and is focused on getting our budget in order. With his campaign endorsed by The Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune and The Daily Herald, he has my vote as state representative, too.
