Think long-term; support District 57 tax hike
I understand that nobody wants to pay more taxes, but don't people understand that their home values will tank if the Mount Prospect District 57 preservation referendum fails?
Over the last 10 years, tons of young families have moved to our village. Why do you think that's happened? It's all because of the awesome local schools.
If the referendum fails, and there are 40 kids in every class and all fine arts are cut, no young family will even consider buying in Mount Prospect. I bet tons of families will move out.
If you live in Mount Prospect and are thinking about selling your house in the future, think long-term and make the smart choice for your property value by voting "yes" on March 20.
