Scofflaws know better
I would like to respond to Patti Vodopest regarding her letter, "Gaming the system." I am also disabled and it infuriates me, too. It clearly states on the application for handicapped plates/placards "The disabled person must enter and-or exit the vehicle while it is parked there." People who do not are in violation and could get a ticket. What makes me really angry is they know the inconvenience they are causing. They could easily drop the able-bodied person at the door and wait in a regular parking spot.
