King and respect for life

On the occasion marking the birthday of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., in this month set aside as a "respect life" period, it is well to quote from his 1967 Christmas Sermon: "When we truly believe in the sacredness of the human personality, we won't exploit people, we won't trample over people with the iron feet of oppression, we won't kill anybody."
