Armchair psychiatrists just don't get Trump
Kathleen Parker's Jan. 9 column concerning President Donald Trump's mental status is another example of media bias, armchair diagnosis and wishful thinking. Their frustration that our president is successful in implementing his agenda and improving the economy, winning the war on terrorism and cutting back on myriad stifling regulations that hinder small businesses is pathetic. Rather than admit they were wrong in judging his leadership ability, they resort to amateur psychiatry.
In my opinion this 24/7 onslaught of bias is doing tremendous harm to our country.
This condescending bias started as soon as the president announced his candidacy and has progressively worsened. Ms. Parker and many of her media colleagues do not "get" President Donald Trump's personality. Too bad. He is just what our country needs.
