Remember need for skilled trades

I read the opinions of candidates for the 6th District in Congress and their main concerns about the current state of, basically, the cost of a college education.

Well, not everyone goes to college or, frankly, needs to go to college. How about a candidate who throws his support behind finding ways to educate those who can become the next manufacturing employees - the tool and die makers, the cabinet makers, the "makers" of things. I think we need to bolster programs for those who will not go to college or choose not to go to college.

There's a shrinking workforce of skilled tradesmen/women and we need to change that.
