Fight back against bullying

My husband and I strongly recommend that Kirk Smalley from Stand for the Silent, a nationally recognized bully prevention organization, be invited to all of our area schools to give a talk on bullying prevention, suicide and respect.

Why are the victims who fight back punished?

Here's a sobering statistic. In the 10-24 age group suicide is the second leading cause of death. First is car accidents.

Both victims and the bullies need help. Make sure your school district is following the laws.

Talk to your school board members.

Talk to your school administrators.

Talk to your child's teachers.

Talk to and listen to your children.

Go to a school board meeting and tell them what is happening to your child or grandchild and even consider having them speak as well.
