President is playing us all for saps

Ladies and Gentlemen, Donald's performance since his run for the presidency is worthy of an Emmy followed by a Tony and finally an Oscar for his starring role in " Who Me President? Why Not? - Role the Cameras Boys".

Act I was his 2016 campaign culminating in his noxious and cruel but "comedic" performance in the Republican debates. Act II, Scene I is upon us now - his first year in office. After careful consideration and after observing his public behavior, and inane and contradictory commentary over the past two years, I have concluded this man never really thought he was qualified to be president, let alone win.

He handles the ultimate stardom by doing what he does best: He becomes the devilish TV president, a sort of surreal version of all those actors pretending to be president. Yeah, says Trump to himself, What the heck, let's play president; let's do and say stuff that will have all the people and the media talking about me and my tweets ad nauseam every day."

Ladies and gentlemen, DJT is playing us all for saps. What he is dealing with is not a Broadway production or a TV series. It is North Korea for real, health care reform for real, our place in the world order for real, etc. It is our lives for real.

Scene II--Donald, Kushner, Flynn and the Russian probe. Come 2020 (or sooner) give Mr. Trump his Emmy and show him the stage door.
