Trump has put losers in the past

Responding to Mary Lou Anton's intelligent and well-stated article in the Daily Herald Nov. 11, I would like to help her out.

She states that she always considered Bush 41 and Bush 43 as men of "the highest moral and personal character" (as did I).

She is appalled because of their critical comments about President Trump, while they had nary a word to say about the "disastrous Obama presidency."

They also had nothing to say about "the crooked Clintons - despite an unbelievable amount of evidence." She wonders why they had nothing negative to say about the "Democratic debacle under Obama" and yet they didn't show the same restraint toward President Trump, who is doing his best to live up to his campaign promises despite the burden of an uncooperative press and negative members of his own political party.

Here's the answer. The two Bush former presidents (and not very good ones) exposed themselves to be small-minded and hateful toward President Trump in retaliation for his masterful takedown of Jeb Bush, a front-runner for the presidency before he went up against Mr. Trump, who lacks the finesse of a career politician but is driven by a passion to win. And by winning, he put an end to the Clinton and Bush ambitions of political dynasties.

And the rest of the world is aware that we are being led by a winner, not a loser, as in the past.
