Why no complaints about Obama?

I voted for both George W. and George H.W. Bush. I supported both presidencies and championed their occupancies of the office. I always looked upon them as presidents and men of the highest moral and personal character. That is why I am writing this letter.

When I heard about their critical comments about President Trump, I was appalled. During the disastrous Obama presidency, there was not one critical peep out of either of them. Ditto for any comments on the crooked Clintons - despite an unbelievable amount of evidence.

Now, when we have President Trump - who incidentally won the office by defeating a record number of candidates and weathering horribly one-sided reporting by the media - and we Republicans have control of the House of Representatives and the Senate, they choose to make derogatory comments, such as calling the sitting president a "blowhard."

Shame on them. I admit President Trump could be more reserved and restrained in his words, but despite the Washington "swamp" and prejudiced liberal media, he is moving ahead with his goal of "making America great again."

They had nothing to say negatively about the Democratic debacle under Obama. Why didn't they show the same restraint toward President Trump, who at the very least is doing his best to live up to his campaign promises, even with the burden of an uncooperative press and negative members of his own political party? I guess the only ones who support him are the American people.
