Always silence on health care solutions
There are so many who endlessly argue the benefits and drawbacks of the Affordable Care Act but there seems to be an eerie silence on real solutions on the health insurance debacle.
As I see it there are four things that must be the sturdy legs of our long term health care solutions.
We must provide care for anyone who has a pre-existing condition.
We must have immediate, robust competition across state lines by all health insurance providers.
We must have health savings accounts set up at birth for every person which will be in their name to used for their health care costs.
And lastly, the one thing no one ever talks about but is probably the most important for keeping costs down: We must have Tort reform; A new system where loser pays in order to discourage frivolous law suits.
The road blocks to these solutions are always the same: lobbyists, campaign contributions and lack of term limits.
That's why there's always silence on real health care solutions.
