Draw your own line
I made the weekly trek to Lake County today to load up on beverages. This is something I do since the brain trust on the Cook County Board decided to tax "soda." Or "sweetened drinks." I can never remember which name they are using week to week. The hubris of this group, as well as billionaire Bloomberg, to tell residents that they are not capable of making proper decisions regarding their children's health would be insulting - if that was the real reason for the tax. It is a money grab. They have drawn a line in the sand. I hope that you all will join me and exercise your right to draw our own line.
