Beware the alarmists

"The sky is falling. The sky is falling," said the frightened little chicken. Did he come to this conclusion himself or did the media convince him that it was really happening?

It exacerbated the intention of two presidents to go to war in the Persian Gulf, to punish Saddam Hussein and prove to the world our military supremacy after the fall of Communism in the U.S.S.R. in 1989.

Hussein invaded Kuwait in 1990, to teach the oil oligarch of Kuwait a lesson and then to withdraw from the country, but George H.W. Bush wouldn't let him. For petty revenge and the possibility of a takeover of Iraqi's oil fields, his son began his "shock and awe" invasion in 2003.

Complicit with George W. Bush's resolution, Fox News, NPR, PBS, The Washington Post, even The New York Times were ostensibly behind the push to unseat Iraq's dictator. Now it's CNN, MSNBC, and all commercial television channels climbing aboard the North Korean express. Read about Henny Penny.
