Palatine residents support Candy Days

The blowing rain and cold on Saturday could not dampen the generosity of the wonderful residents of the Palatine area. We are so grateful for your support of the Misericordia Candy Days fundraiser April 28th and 29th.

The mission of Misericordia/Heart of Mercy is to support individuals with developmental disabilities to maximize their level of independence in an environment that fosters spirituality, dignity, respect and enhancement of quality of life.

Misericordia currently serves more than 600 children and adults from diverse racial, religious and socio-economic backgrounds. Twenty percent of our residents come from families in poverty, or have no families and are wards of the state.

While Misericordia is operated by the Sisters of Mercy under the auspices of the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago, its clinical care, programs, renovations and new buildings are all made possible through private fundraising.

Thank you again for your generous support of our Candy Days fundraiser this year.
