Ashamed of Arlington Heights village board over opt-out

I am truly saddened and ashamed of the Arlington Heights village board for voting to opt out giving minimum wage workers a fair wage of $13 per hour and sick days.

This is what happens when we vote in attorneys and business owners to run things. Most attorneys probably bill 10 or 20 times that per hour. Let's remember this next election and not let them run unopposed.

With all the great restaurants in Arlington Heights, I hope you enjoy your next meal knowing it may have been prepared by someone who had to work sick because they couldn't get time off. They also have to send their kids to school with your kids because they can't stay home.
