An independent commission needed

The future of democracy is at stake. We must have an independent commission to investigate the Trump-Russian issues. Mr. Trump has crossed over the line in firing Mr. Comey during the middle of an investigation on bogus reasons.

Mitch McConnell should be urged by his party to step down. He cannot be unbiased. He is colluding with Mr. Trump. Paul Ryan must be urged by his party to step down. He cannot be unbiased. He is not protecting the Constitution in these issues.

No new laws or legislation should be passed while this investigation is ongoing and the president must be relieved of his authority to initiate military action during these investigations. Mr. Trump is extremely dangerous. Millions of our citizens no longer trust the government or feel protected by its laws while Mr. Trump, Mr. McConnell and Mr. Ryan are in positions of power.

The Republicans in Congress have shown they have been compromised and are tainted because they have not checked this president or spoken out. Mr. Trump must be removed from office immediately.
