Simple but powerful Cold War memorial

I see in the news the veterans of the first Gulf War (Desert Storm) are going to get their memorial in Washington, D.C. Maybe they, of any group, know how we of the Cold War era feel.

The Cold War is America's longest-running conflict to date. We've never had any parades or memorials. Oh, sure, there are some that have the generic "To those who served in war and peace" (but does not say Cold War exclusively).

Until now.

There is a veterans memorial up at Woodstock Harley-Davidson in Woodstock.

For this memorial, we owe thanks to Mr. Timothy J. Crabb who had the vision for it, and Mr. Doug Jackson, GM and part owner of the dealership and finally the management of Woodstock Harley Davidson for providing the space on their property to honor all veterans.

So besides an 8"x8" brick for myself, I bought one which says "For the 382 KIA and the 126 MIA Cold War-era Sep. 1945-Dec. 1991 your sacrifice had been in silence."

It's a simple but powerful tribute, I do not work for any of the above, but I ask that all vets/bikers stop in like it was pointed to me in October. All are welcome to see.
