Include the unborn
In a recent article in the Daily Herald on Illinois senators joining the filibuster of President Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Sen. Durbin is quoted as asking nominee Neil Gorsuch this question: "As a Supreme Court justice would you uphold and defend the Constitution for the benefit of everyone, not just the corporations and privileged elite?" When Sen. Durbin says "everyone," he sadly neglects to include the voiceless unborn child to whom life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness should also apply.
