3D Exhibits, clients win awards

3D Exhibits, a full-service trade show exhibit design company in Schaumburg, earned two prestigious awards for its client work.

3D Exhibits and Huber Engineered Woods took home one of five Exhibitor magazine Sizzle Awards awarded in 2018 for Huber's innovative in-exhibit Instagram launch at the International Builders Show. 3D Exhibits and Merck Animal Health won one of two 2018 International Achievement Awards awarded in the interior displays category by Industrial Fabrics Association International.

Huber Engineered Woods used its new Instagram presence to drive builders and industry influencers to its exhibit at the 2018 International Builders Show. After filling its exhibit with hands-on product demos, the company used an Instagram Meetup to promote its first "Huber Engineered Woods Best of Social Awards." The awards appealed to influencers with humorous and industry-related categories including Blower Door Test Overachiever, Flashiest Flashing and Most Spirited Framing.

The program jump-started the Instagram account - and led to an increase of over 1,000 followers in just three days. With increased booth traffic, attendees uncovered product benefits firsthand by participating in live demonstrations on the show floor. At the end of the three-day show, Huber experienced a 10 percent increase in leads, which made IBS 2018 their highest trafficked event to date.

Determined to lighten its load without lessening its impact, Merck Animal Health debuted its new 90 percent frame-and-fabric trade show exhibit at the 2018 Veterinary Meeting and Expo 2018. IFAI Judges were impressed by how the design combined a sweeping header with a center wall to divide the trade show booth into a lively, interactive environment at the front and a quieter, face-to-face meeting space for qualified prospects at the back. Wave-form graphics on the header added texture and added to the environment's organic look and feel.
