Construction complete at Vernon Hills office

Principle Construction Corp. said it completed the renovation for Richard Wolf Medical Instruments facility at 353 Corporate Woods Parkway in Vernon Hills.

The renovation of the Optical Assembly lab within the facility included the demolition of existing interior walls to open the room and allow for more equipment and workstations. The Principle team then reconfigured the ceiling so that they appear as one continuous grid to disguise the fact that any renovation took place. Additionally, the room's plumbing was modified to accommodate new equipment wash basins and hand sinks. The team replaced the doors with two new glass doors designed to afford visitor's a view into the highly complex Optics Assembly Lab. Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corp., a manufacturer of medical instruments for surgical procedures, selected Principle Construction for this renovation project due to Principle's technical and accurate completion of numerous past projects within their medical manufacturing facility.

The project architect was Timothy Morgan and Associates. Principle's Mark Augustyn was the principal on the project. Principle's Rick Grabowski served as Sr. Project Manager assisted by Jon Anderson and Mark Frane was the Superintendent.
