The Learning Experience opens in Gurnee

The Learning Experience, an academy of early education, opened its newest center at 465 North Riverside Drive in Gurnee.

The Learning Experience's center in Gurnee is now enrolling and provides child care, enrichment programs, summer camp, and early education for children from six weeks to six years of age. Its all-inclusive curriculum and programs include phonics, mathematics, science, foreign language, yoga, and a philanthropy program that teaches children the value of kindness and generosity.

The franchise location in Gurnee is owned by Mollie Blixt, Richard Gibout and Cynthia Umphrey, who will employ more than 30 teachers and staff members to serve upward of 180 children in the community. Husband and wife Gibout and Umphrey also own the South Lyon and Independence locations, with Blixt as the center director. The couple has now partnered with Blixt to open the location in Gurnee.

The franchise also has over 150 locations currently in development in select markets nationwide.
