Goosehead Insurance expands to Rosemont

Personal lines insurance agency Goosehead Insurance said it plans to open a new corporate office in Rosemont.

The firm signed a 5-year lease for 5,200 square feet at Columbia Center I, 5600 N. River Road in Rosemont. The center is owned and operated by Adventus Realty Services. The office is expected to open in the third quarter this year and has the capacity to hold up to 50 corporate sales agents.

"We are excited to continue to expand our presence in the Chicago area," Goosehead CEO and Chairman Mark Jones said. "Our corporate team and franchise partners in Chicago have already seen great success in Illinois and the Midwest. Goosehead is focused on creating a differentiated client experience through excellent client service and top-quality agents."

Jones said the building was chosen for its amenities and proximity to the O'Hare International Airport and Blue Line train.

Goosehead now has more than 400 franchises in 21 states, including 34 in the Midwest region (including Illinois, Michigan and Missouri).

Megan Bailey, Vice President of Franchise Sales, commented: "In addition to the economic opportunity that will be available in this major financial hub, our Chicago team will play a major role in supporting our franchise operations across the Midwest."

The office will continue to be headed by Matthew Hunt, a senior account executive who has been with Goosehead since 2010.

CBRE brokered the real estate deal for Goosehead Insurance. Adventus Realty Services was represented by Cushman & Wakefield.
