Harris joins Conor as senior development manager

Ben Harris has recently joined Rosemont-based Conor Commercial Real Estate as senior development manager.

Harris will be responsible for expanding the firm's development of build-to suits, tenant lease opportunities and land acquisitions. He comes to Conor Commercial with more than 10 years of experience in the real estate industry. He has worked as a tenant adviser for CBRE in the Sacramento and Chicago markets, where he generated new business and worked to reduce clients' real estate costs by leveraging market information. Most recently, he worked for Verizon as a real estate manager in the Chicago market where he achieved over $2 million in rent savings through 90 completed lease renewal transactions by collecting market information from a curated brokerage network and solidified relationships with existing landlords.

Harris graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Currently he is a graduate student at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business working on his Master of Business Administration. He will graduate in June 2018.

"Ben is joining the Conor team at a great time for our business as we are currently experiencing tremendous growth. Adding someone with a diverse background is essential for us to continue forward momentum and bring in more deals," said Brian Quigley, executive vice president.
