Sky Zone grand opening set for Friday in Vernon Hills

The new Sky Zone Vernon Hills indoor trampoline park is holding a grand opening Friday.

The 27,000 square-foot park at 701 N. Milwaukee Ave.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place at 4 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m. guests can purchase a $5 one-hour jumping session.

Two-time Olympian medalist and American Ninja Warrior Jonathan Horton will be making an appearance at the even that ends at 11 p.m.

Sky Zone is the originator of aerial action and the new location houses the latest exciting innovations for the whole family to enjoy.

The new location features wall-to-wall trampoline courts and guests can put their abilities to the test with various obstacles on the new Warrior Course, test their agility on the parkour-worthy Warped Wall, balancing on SkyLine or scale the skies with the park's new bouldering experience, Free Climb. The location is also home to classic Sky Zone favorites including Freestyle Jump, SkySlam, SkyLadder, Ultimate Dodgeball, Foam Zone and Toddler Zone for children under the age of five.
