Zebra launches new printers and software for businesses

Zebra Technologies Corp., said it has launched a new generation of intelligent card printers and card design software designed to bring card printing solutions to the security, retail and hospitality industries as well as education and finance institutions.

Lincolnshire-based Zebra, known for creating bar code scanners, created the ZC100 and the ZC300 series card printers to redefine traditional card printers and provide a cohesive experience at every touchpoint between the user and the printer, including initial set up to reloading cards and changing ribbons to device cleaning.

Zebra also announced CardStudio 2.0 software, a card design and issuance software suite ideal for creating and printing high quality photo identification cards like employee badges, access control cards for facility access, membership cards, food safety labeling, event/seasonal passes and more.

"Zebra has set the bar once again for the card printing industry with its new ZC100/ZC300 Series," said Keith Lefebvre, vice president, specialty printing group at Zebra Technologies. "Zebra's new card printers and software solution provide businesses with a printing system that will grow and change with the organization, optimize staff productivity, improve operating costs and increase customer satisfaction."
