Assurance partner earns top BBB award

Robert Marcocchio, partner at Assurance Agency in Schaumburg has been selected to receive the Torchbearer of the Year Award for 2018 from the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois.

The presentation of the award will be at the BBB's 91st Annual Dinner Meeting in March at Swissotel Chicago. This is the highest award that the BBB makes annually to an individual for exemplary service to the community.

The award recognizes consistent and dedicated support of the BBB and ongoing efforts to educate both consumers and businesses concerning the importance of an ethical marketplace. Previous honorees include Robert Abt, Attorney General Jim Ryan, Governor Jim Thompson, Attorney General Lisa Madigan, W. Clement Stone, Dave Kelly and Richard Ravin.
