2018 Book of Lists compilation starts

The Daily Herald Business Ledger has begun compiling suburban companies for its 2018 Book of Lists.

The annual Book of Lists is the essential reference guide for suburban Chicago business owners and executives. No other publication offers such comprehensive listings of the major firms in various industries in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will counties.

Three new categories are being offered in 2018: Cyber Security Firms, Assisted Living/Retirement Communities, and Virtual/Shared Offices. These are in addition to the lists of 26 categories that comprise the annual B2B guide.

A business can receive a standard listing in the book at no charge. For many categories, businesses can upgrade to an enhanced listing, which features the company's logo, boldface type and a color background. The enhanced listing is a great way to stand out and get noticed by readers. Cost for the enhanced listing is $149.

Businesses in the 2017 Book of Lists will receive an updated survey via email, which should be returned by Feb. 15, 2018. To be considered for the 2018 Book, go to dhbusinessledger.com and click on Book of List promo in the Upcoming Events and Specials section.
