JNL Climate in East Dundee buys plumbing company

East Dundee-based JNL Climate Control said it acquired Sharks Plumbing & Sewer Inc.

Founded in 2012 in Elk Grove Village, Sharks Plumbing & Sewer Inc., is a plumbing contractor specialized in the service, repair and replacement of commercial and residential piping, drainage and pumps.

"We are excited to announce to our customers the addition of plumbing services to our existing portfolio of HVAC installation and repair services," said John Beening, president of JNL Climate Control. "JNL has been looking for the opportunity to add these services for some time. The acquisition of Sharks was a perfect fit that allowed us to do this as they, Like JNL, put high quality customer service above all else."

The announcement was rolled out to current Sharks Plumbing & Sewer Inc., customers via a written letter and on the company's former Facebook page. John Harjung, former president of Sharks, wrote, "I have chosen JNL Climate Control Inc., because they share the same philosophy about customer service. JNL Climate Control will provide the same fast, honest and professional service that Sharks' customers have come to expect. JNL Climate Control Inc., has been in business for 26 years and customer service is their number one goal."

With this acquisition, JNL Climate Control obtained both equipment and personnel essential to the streamlined plumbing service. JNL Climate Control now offers the following services: unclogging drains, sewer rodding, faucet repair or replacement, sump pumps, battery backup sump pumps, ejector pumps, PVC pipe repair, gas pipe, hot water tanks, toilet repair / replacement, silcock replacement, cartridge replacement and p-trap replacement.
