Gizmos Fun Factory attracts all ages

An interview with Kyle Ropac and Justin Tauber, owners of Gizmos Fun Factory.

Q: Tell us about Gizmos.

A: Gizmos Fun Factory opened on Nov. 4, 2016. It is home to seven main attractions and more than 70 arcade games. Guests can visit our 3-story jungle gym for younger children or challenge the older children on the go carts and race for that number 1 spot. When you need a break, take a walk over to our cafe and enjoy a nice plate of nachos or wings! Thirsty? No problem, visit our lab for 10 beers on tap and five wines.

Q: What's unique about the company?

A: Gizmos offers a specific time dedicated to just toddlers, Wednesdays and Fridays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We also have a special needs/sensory day as well.

Q: How does Gizmo's Fun Factory cater to corporate meetings and events?

A: We cater to large groups from field trips to team bonding events. We have seven private rooms available for use, as well as platters of food to cater to groups.

Looking for a way to bond with your team? Challenge those fears and go two stories high on our ropes course or challenge each other in battle or robot laser tag.

Q: What are people in your industry talking about?

A: In the family entertainment industry, it is becoming more important to focus on being interactive. The main focus of Gizmos is to give families and companies the ability to interact with each other. We give people the ability to stay interactive and not be bored with the range of attractions we offer.

Q: Tell us a little about yourself.

A: Kyle graduated with a bachelor's degree from Ball State, while Justin received his bachelor's degree from Indiana University. Both owners have eight years of experience in the family entertainment center business.

Q: Tell us one interesting fact about Gizmos that most people may not know?

A: Gizmos Fun Factory hosts corporate networking events. One weeknight every other month we host a variety of vendors and allow them to promote their businesses. Parents can browse what the vendors have to offer, while their children can go play.
