MCC offers Project Management Professional certification series

CRYSTAL LAKE - McHenry County College offering a Project Management Professional Certification Preparation Series from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Sept. 12 through Oct. 17.

The 35-hour series is being facilitated by international speaker, author, and executive coach, Andy Kaufaman, an certified project management professional, member of the Project Management Institute and president of the Institute for Leadership Excellence and Development, Inc.

The series is facilitated in three parts: Essentials of Project Management; Advanced Project Management; and PMP Exam Prep. Each course builds on the previous level. Completion of these three classes will provide you with the 35 professional development units (PDU's) required to obtain your PMP Certification and prepare you for the PMPĀ® exam through the Project Management Institute (PMI). Experience, education and exam requerments are needed to obtain a PMPĀ® certification in addition to the project management education fulfilled by the courses offered in this series.

If you are interested Project Management but not in PMP certification, you may register for the Essentials and Advanced courses individually. Cost for individual classes are $549 each.
