MCC offers OSHA course for general industry

CRYSTAL LAKE - The McHenry County College Workforce, Community, and Business Programs is offering an OSHA 10-hour Voluntary Compliance in General Industry course from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Sept. 11 and 13 at McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane in McHenry.

The 10-Hour Voluntary Compliance in General Industry is facilitated by OSHA industry expert, Mike Serpe principle at Safety First NA. This course is ideal for personnel with safety and health responsibilities, and for implementing employee safety and health awareness programs. Serpe will explain the OSHA policies, procedures and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA Act Part 1910.

Upon successful course completion, participants will receive a certificate of attendance and an OSHA 10-Hour card from the Department of Labor.

The course fee is $299, which includes materials. Register using course code: NTE S65 101.
